Brocéliande
Are you interested in a getaway from whence you may never return?
Consider visiting Brocéliande (also known as Brécheliant, or Brécilien). Finding the forest itself is an adventure all of its own, as no-one can say for certain where it is, though it is rumoured to be deep within the old Celtic realm.
Share a glass of fresh cider on the sloping valley that leads to the Vale of No Return, or wander the woods endlessly to see if you can find the great wizard Merlin… or his tomb. If losing yourself isn’t what your journey is about, at least stop by the Fountain of Barenton, the legendary place where Merlin and Viviane first met. Finally, pause to look into the tranquil lake – perhaps you will see the Lady within!

Reviews
Roundtablewarrior: ✬ DARE THEE NOT venture to the Vale of No Return, if thou hast ever glanced askew at one other than thine partner own. Thou whilst be forever lost herein.
TheTrueKing: ✬✬✬ The Lady of the Lake produces excellent quality swords and awful quality knights/friends.
Morrigan42: ✬✬✬✬✬ If you’re uncertain of your partner’s commitment to you, I definitely recommend the Vale of No Return. If he’s faithful, you'll have a beautiful trip, and if not, he gets trapped there forever. Win-win!
Brokilon
Picture a massive grove of ancient oaks, majestic mahoganies, and glorious golden birches, nestled in the heart of dryad territory: Brokilon (also known as Brokiloén, the Forest of Death, the Forest of Dryads). Conveniently situated between Cintra, Brugge, Sodden, and Verden, you can visit the ruins of the elven village of Craag An, or experience dryad culture to its fullest in Duén Canell, ruled by Queen Eithné.
This primeval forest hosts flowers that bloom up to seven times throughout the year, while the chaffinches will let you know if rain is expected. There’s no better place to reconnect to the earth, nature, and yourself.
Reviews
WhiteWolf: Description neglects to mention the presence of vyppers, treants, or giant centipedes, nor that the dryads are often hostile to outsiders, especially humans.
Purebloodgrl: ✬✬✬✬✬ Brokilon is perfect as it is. Visitors and outsiders are not welcome.
BloomingMarigold: ✬ Racist queen is extremely rude to non-threatening guests. Would not come again unless interested in an arrow to the throat.
The Hundred Acre Wood
Just like your childhood picture books of yore, the Hundred Acre Wood is the closest thing to a snapshot of your youth. Rumoured to have once been an ancient hunting ground, nowadays, trees of beech, silver birch, oak, pine, and gorse that have seen many a decade provide shelter and homes for the local fauna. Not heavily wooded, Hundred Acre Wood is both heath and woodland, where deer find open pasture to roam and feed. The original forest surrounds Owl’s Home, though in modern times, a larger expanse of land is included in the name.
Catch Roo playing in the sandy pit, or immerse yourself in the local attractions, like the Bee Tree, a floody place, or the Six Pine Trees.

Reviews:
CRobin26: ✬✬✬✬✬ A great place to make and spend time with dear friends. Excellent picnic spot.
itspoohnotpoo: ✬✬✬ Excellent supply of honey, but all access points seem to be too small for curvy visitors.
dArkAngelwingz: If you happen to find a donkey tail, please return it to Eeyore’s Gloomy Place in the south-east of The Wood.
The Forbidden Forest
Do you love fantastic beasts and are wondering where to find them?
There are few better places than The Forbidden Forest (or Dark Forest) to look for rare magical creatures than right on the grounds of England's finest School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. Seemingly impassable at first due to the thickness of yew, pine, oak, beach, and sycamore trees, few have traversed its paths and explored the clearings within.
The list of creatures and species that have been found within range from centaurs, unicorns, and hippogriffs, to thestrels, werewolves, and even the ghostly shell of the Dark Lord himself. Rumor has it that there is even a Muggle automobile dwelling somewhere within. The forest is also noteworthy for hosting the dragon pens for the 1994 Triwizard Tournament.

The5thWeasley: ✬ Negative one million stars, nothing good ever happens in this forest, particularly around the Acromantula.
Groundskeeper99: ✬✬✬✬✬ All of the cutest and sweetest critters in the world can be found in The Forbidden Forest. It’s a perfect place to teach Care of Magical Creatures.

Fangorn Forest

Are you looking to truly get to know the meaning of the word ‘ancient’? If so, step into Fangorn Forest (also known as Entwood or Ambaróna). Located north of Rohan and west of the Misty Mountains, Fangorn is one of the oldest forests in Middle Earth. Alongside its sibling, Old Forest, these two locations are the divided remains of an even more ancient forest that was dominant prior to the Second Age. Fangorn is currently the only forest known to still be tended by the Ents, who are best known for defeating Isengard during the War of the Ring.
Take respite from the sun under its immense canopy, but be wary of drawing blades, lest the Ents treat you as hostile intruders.
Reviews
TheWhiteWizard: ✬ This forest uprooted itself and completely destroyed my factory and breeding grounds. Would give negative stars if possible.
AleBrothers: ✬✬✬✬ Minus points for not being able to tell halflings from orcs and for taking a really long time to make up their minds, but full points for waging war on that factory that was destroying the old growth forest; also the Ents have amazing juice.
Istari420: ✬✬✬✬✬ These trees are never late, they arrive precisely when they mean to. Even to war.
The Rain Wilds
Are you interested in the truly deep and dark places of the world that few dare to tread? If so, come to the Rain Wilds! Overgrown atop ancient ruins, this forest is located southwest of Chalced, if you follow the Rain Wild River all the way to Cassarick via boat or liveship. Historical Trehaug was founded in the trees overtop of the ruins of the Elderling village of Frengong, which offers guided tours to the underground catacombs, while true serpents’ pilgrims can voyage up the Rain Wild River to the recently reclaimed ancient city of Kelsingra, where you will find the home of the realm’s dragons. The Rain Wilds are further notable for being an important part of dragon migration, as larvae (sea serpents) use the ever-changing river to travel upstream to Kelsingra to build their cocoons.

LordFinbok: ✬ A dragon ate my son and it was absolutely 100% definitely not his fault. Will be pursuing legal action.
dragonsnliveships: ✬✬✬✬✬ It’s a long and perilous journey to traverse the Rain Wilds, but since I found love, purpose, and a life of my own there, I can’t say that I wouldn’t recommend it.
Anonymous: ✬✬✬✬ My boyfriend went insane after an expedition up the Rain Wild River, but I found love with my best friend and a life of my own, so I guess it’s a winner on the whole.
SedMel: ✬✬✬✬✬ I also found love, acceptance, and a new life for myself in the Rain Wilds.
The Wood Between the Worlds
Uncertain of where you’d like to go next? Consider popping by the Wood Between the Worlds, where you can access magical lands like Narnia, Earth, and Charn. Tranquil and peaceful, this liminal space is jam-packed with pools that act as portals to other dimensions. All you need is a pair of Atlantean rings to be able to traverse this multidimensional space. Remember, green is to leave the Wood, yellow is to return.

AKetterlyMagus: ✬ The forest saps your energy and is full of pools that take you to awful, dangerous places full of stupid animals. Worst experience of my life.
DiggyKirke: ✬✬✬✬✬ I learned some of the most valuable lessons of my life here, but come at your own risk if you’re not willing to learn how to be a better person.
cabbyfrank: ✬✬✬✬✬ I met a lion and became a king after visiting these woods, and then my horse learned to talk and sprouted wings. Awesome place to visit!
